Project MATAROA continues to support young artists and expands its activity to new artistic fields. In collaboration with ThessDW 2023, which focuses on the relationship between design and gastronomy, MATAROA is establishing new awards and addressing the community of designers and creators with category-related ideas:
Α. Designing the restaurant of the future
Β. Smart and innovative food concepts

After evaluating the nominations submitted to the open call, addressed to the whole community, the jury voted and selected the 3 best in each category. The award ceremony will take place on Friday, 09 June 2023 at 20.30 at Warehouse D’ in Thessaloniki Port, with corresponding cash prizes.

The first 10 works that emerged from the jury’s evaluation will be hosted in an exhibition of Thessaloniki Design Week throughout the duration of the event, 6-11 June, at Warehouse D’, but will also be shown through the website of the Cultural Society (www.culturalsociety.gr), while the thematic publication MATAROA will host a special tribute to the first prize winner in print and online.
